The engine works with a mixture of oil and fuel that you can buy all ready or that you can make yourself. The thermal leaf blower weighs quite heavily and must therefore be worn on the back. Depending on the manufacturer, you will be offered two types of engines: a 2-stroke engine (less heavy, less cumbersome but noisier) or a 4-stroke engine (quieter and less vibration).

Classification of Leaf Blowers
The classic blower
This machine has a unique wind tunnel function. It allows the leaves to be grouped into piles. You must then dispose of them yourself by composing them or collecting them in large plastic bags. This device will allow you to clean your garden driveways, your terrace or your swimming pool, where brooms and rakes are ineffective. These models are very light and very compact making them easy to handle and space-saving. In order to make a classic leaf blower more complete, some manufacturers offer, on purchase, suction kits that will allow you to turn it into a vacuum blower and grinder. This solution is ideal if you already have a standard blower and want a more sophisticated device. Telescopic rigid hoses are also available to reach the sheets stuck in the gutters.
The vacuum blower
It has the same characteristics as the standard blower but it also has a “suction” mode. Both modes are used independently of each other. All you have to do is switch a single switch to change the mode at your convenience. Use the blower mode to collect the dead leaves and the vacuum mode to collect them from the device bag.
